One of the best vacation spots in the northeastern United States is Ocean City Maryland. I spent a lot of time in and around that area as a child, as my family lived in Pennsylvania, and we would travel to Ocean City once a year. Ocean City is best known for its boardwalk, where you can do anything from playing arcade games, shopping for cheap T-shirts, and trying to win some of the stuffed animals at the street vendors, to their wonderful boardwalk fries and saltwater taffy.

While you are at Ocean City Maryland you will want to make sure that you check out some of the nightlife on the local boardwalk. The bars and taverns seem to have unique names, such as the Purple Moose Saloon, and you will want to make sure that you get plenty of T-shirts for yourself and your friends. While you are in Ocean City you will want to make sure that you spend plenty of time on the boardwalk at night. One of the only problem with being on the boardwalk during peak season is that it gets so crowded that you can barely walk.

So the next time you would like a nice seaside vacation retreat make sure that you set your sights on Ocean City Maryland. If you go there once you will only want to go back again, and you may find that it becomes a family vacation of a lifetime for you.
